Assistance Process & Fees
Fees are dependent on the complexity of the case which will be assessed in the initial review of documentation. These fees are not recoverable in the adjudication process but are worthwhile in recovering or defending payment under the Act.
1. FREE assessment
Of Payment Claim Notice, Response to Payment Claims, Notice of Intention, Adjudication Referrals and Adjudication Response
2. Adjudicate Assist
To respond with its assessment of the case, which will include recommendation of fixed fee or hourly rate, level of consultant, estimate of hours and payment required at this stage to proceed
Adjudicator’s Fees
1. Adjudicate Assist will recommend a suitably qualified and experienced adjudicator from its panel to match the issues in dispute.
2. Adjudicate Assist has a panel of suitably qualified and experienced adjudicators who have decided hundreds of adjudications in similar jurisdictions. The panel consist of quantity surveyors, architects, engineers, builders, construction solicitors and barristers all of whom have at least 10 years relevant industry experience.
3. Adjudicate Assist will provide the adjudicator’s terms and conditions of appointment for agreement with the parties, which will include Adjudicate Assist acting as agent for the adjudicator.
